So for our trip to Miami Beach we really didn’t want to take any risks and go for a hotel we knew we’d like, so we opted for the W South Beach. If you didn’t know already this is where most celebs stay when in Miami, as it is infamous for its pool parties and pink-striped sunloungers right on the beach.
I am not getting paid for this review, obviously. The whole W hotel chain can hit me up for sponsorship though, I am totally up for that. Anyway, this hotel is definitely the one I will be staying at again when in Miami. That one and the 1 Hotel South Beach, which caters to about the same audience as the W. The staff was extremely friendly and helped us sort out everything, from checking tire pressure on our rental car to letting us rent free bicycles. The whole hotel facility is super clean and very chic. The style is definitely modern but somehow understated and kinda witty. They usually have puns on the free toiletries in the room and all over the little tags etc.
The room was super spacious, I don’t remember what exactly our room was called, but especially the bathroom was huge. The showers are so big you could dance in them. Also, the balcony is roomy too, so you can definitely pre-drink on them. So convenient that our neighbours got a little too loud one night, but one call to the concierge sorted it out in 5 minutes.
The restaurant on the ground level called The Dutch is a great choice for breakfast. They offer a big selection and everything is made fresh.
Probably the biggest plus of the hotel is the fact that sunloungers at the beach are free and reserved for hotel guests, so no worries about where to get a tan.
Enough words, let the pictures speak:
Their fancy pool accompanied by the striped sunloungers.
Exterior facade of the building, which is definitely one of the newer ones in SoBe.
Inside concierge/lobby area. You cant sit here and wait for your uber to arrive.
They would literally change this doormat inside the elevator each and every single day, this is how dedicated the hotel is to their corporate identity.
Gorgeous pic of me when we arrived, and when the bathroom was not a mess yet.
The view right behind the hotel’s pool. The sunloungers were not put up at the beach that day due to hurricanes.
