Time to introduce you to my favorite little brunch spot in Amsterdam! Ok, it’s not really a secret as Pluk has loads of followers on Instagram and it is notoriously known as the girlie brunch spot in Amsterdam. Anyway, stay tuned for my review on Pluk!
Pluk is known for their small but insanely delicious and lovely-to-look-at brunch menu. They offer different varieties of breakfast bowls (I got the Acai bowl and it was really good!) and other brunch dishes, e.g. eggs benedict and so on. They serve them in super cute dishes and especially their pastry selection is just a piece of art.
The café has an interesting concept, as it is not only serving food and coffee, but also offers a range of cute interior design objects. The plates and cutlery are very trendy and fit into the whole aesthetic of the place. The also offer stationery items, and even an ‘instagram-content-planner’ which I might get when I go there again. I feel kind of sad about the fact that I can’t really buy any of their cute cutlery or dishes, as this simply wouldn’t pay off for my half-a-year stay. Ugh!
They have their whole kitchen on display basically! Pluk uses only fresh ingedients for their dishes and this really shows in how well they taste and look.
Literally the only thing I kind of dislike about the place is how you are not really served, you have to order downstairs and pay there immediately. The good thing is, this process works really well and fast, but having to carry your coffee up the tiny staircase sucks. But honestly, that’s the only negative thing I have to say about them.
Anyway, here’s the gorgeous header image again, just because I know you want to see it:
