My Top 5 Restaurants in Monaco

Monaco is home to the best of French and Italian cuisine, which makes it a culinary hotspot on the Côte d’Azur. It’s been a while since I got to roam through the Principauté, but I feel like since I’ve already been there a few times I can share my two cents about my favorite food spots.

La Note Bleue – Beach Club & Lunch Spot

This is both a beach club, jazz bar and restaurant – a concept that can be found in Monaco and other coastal towns in France. It is right at the Plage du Lavrotto, Monaco’s main public beach, which makes it an ideal spot to spend a whole day at. Their beef tartare is honestly one of the best I’ve ever had.

Jack Monaco – Dinner Favorite

Jack is right at the port of Monaco, so it is more of an evening dining spot. It is a cool mix of bar, club and restaurant. It definitely has a younger and more relaxed feel than all the other places around the port. Their lobster pasta is just amazing.

Horizon Deck – The Best Breakfast in Monaco

This is my favorite spot for breakfast. Their buffet is the perfect size and all the food is of supreme quality. I generally recommend the Fairmont to anyone who wants to make the most out of their stay in Monaco – oh yeah, and Nikki Beach is on top of the Hotel!

Sphere – A Quick Lunch Spot

This little gem is so hidden, I only really got there because I spent hours inside the Metropole Mall. It is right across Sephora, so no wonder it is one of my faves. There’s not a lot of tourists there and their prices are really low for Monaco standards.

Bella Vita – Mediterranean Cuisine at its Best

This is the most traditionally Italian place you can find in Monaco. Bella Vita has a very relaxed feel to it and their service is also really great. It is super close to the port and they offer great seafood at a reasonable price.

So anyway, that was my quick list of places in Monaco that I love to have food at. Which ones are your faves?
